Privacy Policy

FORGE is a workout, exercise and nutrition app. This policy explains what it collects,
what it does not, and what control you have. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. Your training data — workouts, sets, body weight, meals,
measurements — stays on your device. It is not uploaded, sold or shared. The only information
that reaches a server is what is needed to sign you in.
What stays on your device
FORGE stores the following in a database on your phone, and nowhere else:
- Workouts, programs, sessions, sets, reps and weights
- Personal records and training history
- Body weight, measurements and progress photos, if you add them
- Meals, food logs, water intake and nutrition targets
- Your profile: age, height, weight, goal, experience level and preferences
None of this is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
What is collected when you sign in
Signing in is optional — the app can be used without an account. If you do sign in,
authentication is handled by Supabase,
and if you use Google Sign-In, by Google. In that case the following is processed:
- Your email address
- Your display name and profile picture, if your Google account provides them
- An account identifier used to recognise you on your next sign-in
This is used only to identify you. It is not used for advertising or profiling.
What FORGE does not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
- No analytics or behavioural tracking SDKs
- No selling or sharing of personal information
- No location collection
- No access to your contacts, photos or files beyond images you deliberately attach
Permissions, and why
- Notifications — rest-timer alerts and workout or meal reminders you switch on.
- Vibration — haptic feedback when a rest timer ends or a personal record is hit.
- Internet — used only for signing in. The app itself works fully offline.
- Run at startup — so reminders you scheduled survive a restart.
Your choices
- Use it without an account. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Delete your account. Ask from the app, or email the address below,
and the account and the data tied to it are removed.
- Delete everything. Uninstalling removes all on-device data permanently.
It cannot be recovered afterwards, including by us.
Children
FORGE is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them.
If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and it will be deleted.
Not medical advice
FORGE is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or
prevent any condition, and the targets and suggestions it produces are general estimates.
Consult a qualified professional before starting a new training or nutrition programme.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and the updated version appears here.
